Abstract

Ethics in business is a commonly acknowledged business concept playing a key role in the organization of many world enterprises. Nevertheless, in this particular aspect, Polish companies, especially small and medium ones, seem to lag behind in comparison with world leaders. Undoubtedly, the importance of ethics in business will be gradually growing, which means that business ethical programs are bound to become an integral part, rather than an option. Therefore, this article is aimed at verifying the contemporary practical approach to the issue of ethics in Polish enterprises, by confronting the existing theoretical sources of knowledge with the results of empirical studies.
