Abstract
Health care providers are grounded in the concept of providing patient-centered care in an environment of beneficence and nonmaleficence and promoting patient autonomy and truthfulness. Patients’ rights to truthful information, informed consent, and privacy as well as freedom from discrimination provide the framework for care delivery.
