Abstract

Genetic testing for cancer susceptibility is new and therefore deserves the careful attention of physicians in order to assure that the tests are performed and interpreted in an appropriate fashion. On occasion, genetic testing for cancer susceptibility will present ethical dilemmas with which many clinicians will not be familiar. A brief case presentation will frame these issues for subsequent discussion.
