Abstract

[EN] Training in engineering programs delivered in the Regional Faculty San Francisco address the design from the calculation based on the application of physics in relation to mechanisms, with a strong background in mathematics to understand and develop them from the point of view structural and functional behavior of machinery and equipment, with knowledge of materials related to the metalworking industry and production processes and implementation of specific programs drawing. Engineering industries Industrial Park San Francisco engineering professionals need training in design widest added to its current lineup that includes the product throughout its life cycle, with the same knowledge to devise tools from systemic methodology for comprehensive treatment, such as concurrent engineering, enabling an integrated life cycle from the conceptual design to design deposition. This situation presents a study related to the feasibility of changes in curriculum structure engineering careers with a strong content added to the existing curriculum design, analyzing the qualitative impact it would have on production metalworking Industrial Park San Francisco . Their findings will allow the development of a systemic model for implementation from identifying input variables, management processes, evolution and mutation, corresponding to output variables depending on the answers given by the productive areas and academic. The expert interviews and surveys in the field of interaction of both systems allows to evaluate needs in the metalworking production system linked to training design engineers, also the detection teachers, members of collegial bodies of university governance, authorities and researchers , lack this training to meet current industrial and social needs and their willingness to make the changes necessary to address them successfully. The study carried out it is concluded that this change in the training of engineers in the field of Regional Faculty San Francisco would have a positive impact on the metallurgical production system Industrial Park San Francisco, with viability of academic application and disposal of working together for implementation, the necessary approach considering both research process transfer to the productive system by creating a design center including the development and application of existing tools into the production process providing for the administration of the product throughout its life cycle . The present research, based on aspects that cut the metallurgical education and production, determines the possibility of laying the foundations for a future curriculum of the engineering professions San Francisco Regional Faculty of the National Technological University, which be able to meet existing needs in the metalworking productive sector and is the core for the start of a process of investigation linked to design and metallurgical production in the Industrial Park San Francisco, whose design responds to the development of a systemic model for implementation. Addressing aspects…
