Abstract

The morphological study of the acardio anceps fetus presented, product of a controlled twin pregnancy, primiparous for 17 years, which was obtained by eutocic delivery. The normal twin did not present alterations and its subsequent development has been normal. Among the characteristics of the acardium, sketches of the skull, thorax, abdomen and limbs were presented, the body cavities being occupied by a substance formed by loose connective tissue. The cord insertion was velamentous.
