Abstract

The article studies the work of two peruvian poets from the seventies’ generation, through their initial books. In that sense, the article proposes a comparative analysis between Álbum de familia (1971) and Arte de navegar, through the ekphrasis. Therefore, it is maintained as a thesis that the paintings of Chagall and Van Gogh are both intertextual elements that interact through the ekphrasis with the poetic discourse of the locutors in the poems mentioned above, structuring antithetical relations between them that question modernity and the instrumental rationality in which they are located. Likewise, the project will study the poems “Chagall” and “Acerca de la libertad” of Watanabe; as well as “Van Gogh en Arles” of Juan Ojeda. In this study, we will use the concept of Comparative Rhetoric.
