Abstract

Disruption in the normal timing of female puberty, as in pre-pubertal cancer treatments, can cause abnormal somatic development. CTX has been shown to hamper long bone and uterine development when administered to pre-pubertal mice. These effects are partially restored by low-dose estrogen treatment. We evaluated if high-dose estradiol could affect long-term uterine and somatic development.
