Abstract
The Fermi contact interaction contribution to the spin–spin coupling constant is calculated for Xe–H and 129Xe–131Xe. The method used is a simple density functional theory of responses. In the regions of interest, J(Xe–H) is microHz, and J(129Xe–131Xe) is milliHz.
