Abstract

Energy levels and ionization potentials for the NH 4, H 3O and H 2F radicals are predicted using core analogies applied to the K-shell electron energy loss spectra of CH 4, NH 3 and H 2O, respectively. In the case of the ammonium radical (NH 4) excellent agreement is obtained with the results from theoretical calculations.
