Abstract

The geosynthetic material has been studied for frost resistance. The results of the study showed that this material retains its strength characteristics after repeated freezing and full defrosting. The studied geosynthetic canvas is frost resistant. It is established that this geosynthetic material is resistant to bending at low temperatures. The geosynthetic canvas under study is frost-resistant and is recommended for use in road structures in arctic climate conditions. The development of the temperature field in the samples, under conditions of natural convection, limited convection, thermal conductivity in the layer of dispersed material and in contact with dense material of the fibrous structure had a low speed, which indicates significant thermal inertia, small values of the thermal diffusivity of the geosynthetic web. The recommendations for their application in construction are given.
