Abstract

The paper gives characteristic to the permitted for use varieties of spring wheat of different ripeness groups in terms of yield and adaptability parameters when tested in different soil and climatic zones. Higher average yield, realization of its potential and homeostasis of varieties in the northern forest-steppe zone, and an increase in yield regardless of soil-climatic zone in the dynamics of years of admission of varieties for use are noted. The most valuable varieties that combine high productivity with responsiveness to changing conditions and environmental sustainability are selected.
