Abstract

It is a complex problem to provide an electromagnetic safety under the conditions of simultaneous activity of electromagnetic fields in a wide frequency range. Known shielding materials do not provide a reliable protection from nonionizing radiation at the whole standartized frequency range. The article offers using a multilayer shield for the efficient reduction of electromagnetic radiation in a wide frequency range. It provides the results of experimental studies and charts of electric and magnetic fields from two sources changing in space at the 50 Hz to 300 MHz frequency range which depends on the shield placement and availability. It also provides an estimation of electric and magnetic fields’ reduction on the controlled frequencies.
