Abstract
ABSTRACT In this article, we present an approximate method for estimating energy savings in manufacturing plants due to proper mixing of air or destratification. Exact methods are available but these methods require extensive amount of data such as insulation on roof and walls, number of windows and doors, etc. For many older manufacturing plants this data is not readily available. Our method, which is approximate, requires minimal amount of easily available data.
