Abstract

In order to analyze the economic performance of thermal power plant, a partial least squares support vector machine coupling model was constructed. First of all, the coal consumption rate was selected as the evaluating indicator, which is an important indicator to evaluate the economy of power plant. At the same time, the physical quantities were established, which is closely related to coal consumption rate through the method of correlation analysis. Then, the latent variable factors were extracted by the partial least square regression method and the economic analysis model of a power plant was built with the latent variables as input vectors and coal consumption rate as output vectors. The model predictions show that, the accuracy of the coupled model was higher than that of the single model and the errors met the actual requirements, so it can be used to predict the coal consumption rate of power plant.
