Abstract
The Morse-Kratzer potential, recently used by the authors for computing spectroscopic constants and cohesive energies of the alkali hydrides, is used to compute additional parameters characterizing the bulk properties, including the thermal expansion coefficient, isothermal compressibility and Grüneisen constant. The estimated values of these parameters are in reasonable agreement with the theoretical results of Das and Saxena, indicating the soundness of our approach.
