Abstract

Vertical atmospheric refractivity profiles could be used to estimate the range of marine radar. However, inversing vertical atmospheric refractivity profiles with GPS occultations was a hard work. A way was put forward in the article to estimate the range of marine radar with bending angles from GPS occultations. This way could save the hard work and eliminate errors from the hard work.
