Abstract

The article reveals the issues of estimating the market value of wheeled vehicles in conditions of limited information. If there is a shortage of data on the assessment base, it is necessary to take into account the differences between the base and the assessment objects. The authors assessed the market value of a special purpose vehicle (excavator). The estimation made it possible to obtain a generalized scheme of vehicle evaluation in conditions of limited data, which consists of five stages: market analysis, collection of market information, screening of anomalous objects, sampling of homogeneous vehicles, price adjustments. The assessment shows approaches to making price adjustments to the base models (including the time factor and the availability of taxes). The statistical method of price adjustments is used. The authors emphasize the need to distinguish between sales prices and supply prices of vehicles.
