Abstract

In this study, according to econometric tools and model all the important variables affecting household electricity consumption include, to interact survey on the consumption of vital goods to Iran, in developed and developing countries to deal. After estimating the appropriate models for each of the categories of income and price elasticity of consumption and analyze the differences in each group will be discussed, Our results show that there are significant differences across countries in per capita consumption of household electricity, household income in developing countries than developed countries have a greater impact on consumption and gas prices as a good substitute but very little significant effect on consumption in all countries.
