Abstract

The present study examines four different experimental paradigms designed to provide estimates of input processing time in the “;SVE”; component of a model of visual information processing. Mean processing times vary from a low of 60 msec to a high of 120 msec for the four paradigms examined and the results are related to other time estimates in the literature concerning the visual persistence of short duration stimuli.
