Abstract

The purpose of this study is to treat the problem of theestimate of gravitational actions derived from the partition setin the field of residential building. In its development therehave been taken into consideration diverse regulations as wellthe technical specifications of a wide spectrum of constructivesolutions concerning the simple and compound vertical faces.With a statistical basis that extends over a large set ofconstructed projects, possible characteristic values are putforward for both the density of interior divisions and theconsideration of it by means of equivalent loads with uniformsuperficial distribution. Finally, proposals are presented inrelation with the modelling of such actions, in particular, fromthe point of view of its incorporation under the computerizedapplications of calculus, with the purpose of systematizing itsdefinition and adapting the interpretation of the appropriateresults to the real behaviour of the structural system object ofcalculation.

SUMMARY

The purpose of this study is to treat the problem of the estimate of gravitational actions derived from the partition set in the field of residential building. With a statistical basis that extends over a large set of constructed projects, possible characteristic values are put forward for both the density of interior divisions and the consideration of it by means of equivalent loads with uniform superficial distribution. Proposals are presented in relation with the modelling of such actions, in particular, from the point of view of its incorporation under the computerized applications of calculus, with the purpose of systematizing its definition and adapting the interpretation of the appropriate results to the real behaviour of the structural system object of calculation
