Abstract

Introduction: Esthesioneuroblastoma is an uncommon malignant tumor that arises from the olfactory epithelium and usually involves the anterior cranial fossa and nasal cavity. The main symptoms are unilateral nasal obstruction, epistaxis, and anosmia. The diagnosis is based on an anatomopathologic study. The treatment consists of the combination of surgery and radiotherapy. As endoscopic technique has advanced, this approach has been recommended to avoid morbidity and to reduce costs.
