Abstract
Objective To establish a scientific, objective and practical quality indicator system for children pneumonia nursing care, and to provide a scientific assessment tool for nursing service satisfaction. Methods Firstly, an initial quality indicator system was drafted based on literature review and clinic practice. Secondly, the draft was assessed using Delphi method through a two-round consultation by 24 experts. Results The amendment consisted of three first-level indicators, seven second-level indicators and 32 third-level indicators (significance>4.00; full mark rate>0.25; variation<0.20) . The experts showed high acceptance to the system in two-round evaluations (coefficient of authority: 0.86 for 1st evaluation and 0.88 for 2nd evaluation) . Conclusions The amendment of quality indicator system can standardize the nursing services for children pneumonia but needs further validation.
