Abstract

The Jiles Atherton (JA) core dynamic hysteresis model under dc flux is established in this paper. Firstly, the hysteresis loss and the dynamic coefficients of the core are obtained by using the Epstein frame. Secondly, the dynamic coefficients are normalized and the dynamic coefficient estimation model is put forward. Finally, based on the iron loss separate theory, the JA dynamic hysteresis model is developed considering the eddy current loss and the anomalous loss, which are reflected by the dynamic coefficient estimation model proposed. The calculated results compared with the experimental results measured by Epstein frame show the effectiveness of the method.
