Abstract

Sprocket chain drive is a common transmission mode in mechanical engineering that is widely used. However,due to the complexity of sprocket chain manufacturing, the three-dimensional design and motion simulation and analysisusing modern engineering software are time-consuming, and a great deal of calculations are needed. Therefore, it is ofgreat significance to develop a sprocket chain reuse library based on the modern engineering software Unigraphics. Amongthem, the sprocket design library was designed many years ago and published relevant papers (establishment of sprocketparametric modeling and reuse library based on UG). Therefore, this time, the chain reuse library is mainly establishedfor sleeve roller chains that meet the national standard (GB/t1243-2006), With the sprocket reuse library, 3D models canbe established and assembled rapidly. The system was proven to be efficient and reliable through numerous engineeringdesign verifications. This system makes engineering design, 3D assembly, and motion simulation easier and provides areference for the development of other complex computing systems.
