Abstract
ObjectiveThis exploration aims to discuss the establishment of mathematical model for predicting malignancy of lung cancer complicated with Talaromyces Marneffei infection and its chest imaging characteristics, and improve clinicians' understanding of the disease. Method: the lung cancer patients with Talaromyces Marneffei infection (observation group) and the patients only with Talaromyces Marneffei infection (control group) were selected as the research objects. The clinical features and chest computed tomography (CT) imaging features of the two groups were compared and summarized. Meanwhile, the clinical classification and the number of T lymphocytes in peripheral blood of the two groups were observed. Finally, the mathematical model of malignant prediction was constructed. Results: the number of male patients infected with Talaromyces Marneffei is significantly higher than that of female patients (P < 0.05); the symptoms of cough and expectoration in the observation group are significantly more than those in the control group (P < 0.05); the clinical classification of the two groups are all disseminated infection of Talaromyces Marneffei, reaching 100%; the main imaging features of the observation group are obvious enhancement of focus enhancement scanning, strip shape and nodule, and the situation of obvious enhancement of focus enhancement scanning in the observation group is significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Moreover, the accuracy of the mathematical model for predicting malignancy is 86.59%, and the fitting effect is excellent. Conclusion: the clinical and imaging findings of Talaromyces Marneffei infection and lung cancer overlap. The possibility of lung cancer should be considered when there are obvious signs of malignancy in patients with Talaromyces Marneffei.
