Abstract

The article presents the physico-chemical characteristics of the silt deposits of the Tuyabuguz and Pachkamar reservoirs. The influence of silty deposits on the technological properties of ceramic materials fired at high temperatures has been determined. With the introduction of a refractory additive from kaolin waste in them, such undesirable phenomena were eliminated and the number of new formations of aluminosilicates in the form of anorthite, wollastonite and mullite minerals increased sharply, which ensured high performance characteristics of the materials obtained.
