Abstract

Grants Competitive and Non-competitive in 2013 and 2014. Poster will highlight training, nutrition education, and wellness policy work. Evaluation: Kansas State Department of Education has reached over 19,500 students through nutrition education promotion, over 4,200 foodservice professionals in training classes developed through the TNTG, and over 450 school staff through regional Impacting School Wellness Workshops. Conclusions and Implications: Evaluations from programs conducted under the Kansas State Department of Education's Team Nutrition Training Grants have shown positive response to program activities.
