Abstract
The composition of the essential oil obtained from the dried flowering aerial parts of Chenopodium botrys L. (Chenopodiaceae) was analyzed by GC and GC-MS. Forty-one components have been identified in the essential oil of C. botrys. The major components of the essential oil were γ-terpineol (52.8%), p-cymene (19.0%) and iso-ascaridole (7.0%).
