Abstract

Report of a case from the Eye Department of the Touro Infirmary, New Orleans, La. The eye enucleated and studied in the Laboratory of the Medical Department of the University of Colorado. Histologic examin nation confirmed the clinical picture, demonstrated Schnabel's cavernous degeneration of the optic nerve and revealed unexpected changes in the retina.
