Introduction

More than 80% of the forest area of the Central Ciscaucasia lie in the Stavropol Upland and the Terek and Sunzha crest (Shevchenko, Viktorov, 2014). This material is one of the first mentions of the forests of the Pyatigorye region with the enclosed brief listing of the flora of Mount Beshtau forest consisting of 54 plant species.
