Abstract

The ozonide (O 3 −) radical obtained by γ-irradiation on AgClO 3 has been identified by its room temperature ESR spectra at X and Q band and by its optical absorption at 440 mμ. The complete study of the resolved Q band ESR spectra consisting of two lines with the same intensity revealed the presence of two inequivalent trapping sites for the O 3 − molecules.
