Abstract
RESUMO Este trabalho teve por finalidade apresentar um esquema de discretização mais eficiente que o tradicional esquema de diferenças centrais, denominado Flux-Spline, a fim de simular, numericamente, problemas tridimensionais governados por difusão. A eficiência do esquema proposto foi avaliada por meio da resolução de problemas-teste com solução analítica conhecida. Verificou-se que tal esquema possui características adequadas de precisão e, portanto, uma opção recomendável para a solução de problemas difusivos tridimensionais.
