Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the educational spaces as possibility of learning. The investigation discusses the routine of science classes and has as instrument the participant observation. The audience is composed by twenty-three 6th grade elementary students from the State Full-time School in the city of Goiás. The theoretical assumptions that guide the research base on the conceptions of Anísio Teixeira, Darcy Ribeiro, Jacqueline Moll and others. In the results, it became clear that the educational spaces – particularly the source of the Red River located at Serra Dourada – contribute significantly to the integral development of children and adolescents.
