Abstract
AbstractA potential green protocol for C−C and C−N bond formation reactions in aqueous medium promoted by basic waste biomass has been developed. The protocol involves the use of Egg Shell Powder (ESP) in water as a green heterogeneous reaction media which is basic in nature and offers a mild, resourceful and inexpensive alternative to the conventional protocols for palladium catalyzed C−C (Suzuki‐Miyaura) and C−N (Peptide coupling) bond formation reactions. The reactions proceeded in basic ESP medium in air at short reaction time at room temperature under ‘external base/external promoter/ligand/organic solvent’ free conditions.
