Abstract

Intramammary markers (clips) represent a significant improvement in the field of diagnosis and treatment of breast disease, because they facilitate the work of professionals involved in the procedures after the biopsy.The type of breast marker used depends on the technique used to place them, and the indications for marking, both of which, in turn, depend on the type of lesion.It is essential to select the appropriate technique and marker for each case to facilitate the work of other professionals and reduce examination times.
