Abstract
An escape route guidance system for quay process in shipyard was developed. The optimal escape route is calculated using the mobile-based location information. Basic experiment was conducted to confirm the applicability of the developed technique. The proposed method is expected to be used for large ship-building sites, passenger vessels, and large public facilities, thereby reducing human casualties in the event of safety accidents.
