Abstract

The idea of implementing an escape room as part of foreign language teaching fits perfectly with the needs of today's learner, where we create a natural learning environment using digital tools. The escape room, whether stationary or virtual, gives space for the use of different types of language tasks. The article first describes the escape room in the light of theoretical considerations. It then presents the results of a survey, conducted among 31 teachers of various foreign languages. The aim of the survey was to gather feedback from the teachers who themselves use escape rooms in their language classes.
