One aim of ESCAIDE is to share applied scientific knowledge on infectious diseases surveillance, prevention and control in Europe and internationally. In 2015, more than 600 public health specialists from 55 countries participated to share their knowledge and experiences on current challenges in the field of infectious diseases.
