ESA 2016 workshop on Aerospace EMC report

Abstract

The 2016 ESA workshop on Aerospace EMC was held in Valencia, Spain from May 23-25 at the Westin Hotel, organized by the European Space Agency (ESA) with co-sponsorship by the IEEE EMC Society. This was the third in the series of ESA workshops for Aerospace EMC held first in Florence (Italy) in 2009 and then in Venice (Italy) in 2012. The organizers have strived to hold these events every three years. The Technical Programme Committee comprised a well balanced mix of members from various national space agencies, industry contractors and suppliers, and academia. Participation in the event this year was almost certainly bolstered by the organizers' attempt to cooperate with the IEEE Aerospace & Electronic Systems Society (AESS).
