Abstract

An analysis is made of the features and errors of three electrical methods of determining the conversion factor (sensitivity) of electrodynamic seismic detectors: on the basis of the degree of damping, on the basis of the amplitude of decaying vibrations, and by the method of forced vibration. The importance of the method used and, thus, the usefulness of the study results stem from the fact that the main parameter of seismic detectors — sensitivity to mechanical loading — is determined by an electrical method that is equivalent to the direct method of mechanical loading of the detector housing.
