Abstract

In many cases when measured error undergoes regular variations, it is advantageous to gauge at a limited number of points while retaining high accuracy and reliability of the result. Gauging at a limited number of points reduces the number of measuring contacts in the automatic control devices and speeds up the monitoring process on nonautomatic instruments.
