Learn more.Copy URL In the paper, “Meta-analysis: the effects of proton pump inhibitors on cardiovascular events and mortality in patients receiving clopidogrel”, published in Volume 31 Issue 8 (April 2010), the statement, “the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently issued an updated statement cautioning against concomitant clopidogrel and PPI use”, was incorrect. The correct statement should read, “the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently issued an updated statement cautioning against concomitant clopidogrel and omeprazole use (marketed as Prilosec and Prilosec OTC).” We apologize for this error.
