Abstract

In an article in the 1 October 2003 issue of the Journal (DeJesus E, Wald A, Warren T, et al. Valacyclovir for the Suppression of Recurrent Genital Herpes in Human Immunodeficiency Virus–Infected Subjects. J Infect Dis 2003; 188:1009–16), there were 2 errors. On the title page, the last entry in the list of authors’ affiliations—that is, GlaxoSmithKline, Greenford, United Kingdom—should have been numbered 8 (rather than 5), to indicate that this is the affiliation of Joanne L. Hill (whose affiliation is denoted “8” in the list of authors). Also, the proportion given in lines 3 and 4 of the “Suppression of HSV recurrences” subsection on page 1011 should have been 33/194 (rather than 33/134—note, however, that “17%” is correct as the percentage). The publisher regrets these errors
