Specifically the paragraph on page 183 that states, “The Cox regressions were also adjusted for the data's left truncation…” The models were not corrected for left truncation. The Cox regressions still estimate the hazard of cohabiting couples splitting up during the period of the first two waves of the NSFH based on their conflict types and the control covariates.
