Erratum to “The partial pressure of carbon dioxide and air–sea fluxes in the northern South China Sea in spring, summer and autumn” [Marine Chemistry 96 (2005) 87–97

Abstract

The authors regret that in the above article the following errors occurred: (1) On page 95, column 1, line 13 from the bottom, the annually integrated CO2 sea–air flux at the NSCS should be “∼2.4 mmol m day or 0.86 mol m year” rather than “∼3.4 mmol m day or 1.2 mol m year”. The discussion and conclusion made in this paper will not be affected. The correct version of that paragraph should be read as below. During a recent cruise of ours to NSCS in February– March 2004 (late winter), we measured sea–air pCO2 differences in the region and estimated the flux as ∼2.2 mmol m day for the outer shelf/slope areas
