Abstract
The editors of the journal decided to retract the paper titled ‘‘Effect of Gd2O3 over Ni/SiO2 on syngas production via methane autothermal reforming’’ published in the journal last year (Reaction Kinetics, Mechanisms and Catalysis, 2010, 101, 129–140; DOI 10.1007/s11144-010-0210-2). After the publication of the paper, the following facts became obvious to the editors. 1. The corresponding author (Dr. Jianzhong Guo) submitted this manuscript for publication without the knowledge and approval of the two co-authors. 2. Several figures and tables appearing in the paper were published in two earlier articles (International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, 2009, 34, 8905–8911; Fuel, 2008, 87, 1348–1354). All authors have agreed to retracting this article. Dr. Jianzhong Guo is solely responsible for the scientific misconduct leading to the retraction. The scientific accuracy of the reported work has not been questioned.
