Abstract
In the above-mentioned review article by Dr. Achenbach and colleagues, in the Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology section, first paragraph under the Abacavir subheading (page 2), wording was omitted in error after typesetting: The incomplete sentence reads: “CBV-TP inhibits transcription of HIV viral RNA to DNA by competing with an endogenous nucleotid*transcriptase enzyme.” The correct sentence should read: “CBV-TP inhibits transcription of HIV viral RNA to DNA by competing with an endogenous nucleotide, 2’-deoxyguanosine triphosphate, for incorporation into the nucleic acid chain by the reverse transcriptase enzyme.” 0008-7
