In Equation A28, the number multiplying the mean diffusivity should be inverted, and the correct version thus reads: (A28) There is a numerical pre-factor missing in Equation A30, so the correct version is (A30) Finally, in Equation A31, there is an error in the denominator, such that it should have been (A31)where we also substituted TiiTjj = 1. Note also that fractional anisotropy as used here is employing a different normalization (cf. equation A28) than the most widely used. Thus, if FAB denotes the conventionally normalized FA (Equation [15] in 2), we have . When this normalization is employed, FE should be normalized similarly, i.e. multiplied by . These corrections have no influence on the conclusions nor the results (the correct formulas were used in the analysis). References 1 Jespersen SN, Lundell H, Sonderby CK, Dyrby TB.
