Abstract
The published version of this paper contains two typos: The last sentence of the first paragraph of the “CRITERIA FOR AUTOGENIC WATERFALL IDENTIFICATION” section (p. 248) contained a typo, and should read “For constant Qs/Qsc, cyclic step theory predicts that step spacing and step height will decrease with increasing channel slope (S) (Izumi et al., 2017).” The last sentence of the last paragraph of the “Waterfall Metric Measurements” section (p. 250) should read “We also examined the along-channel waterfall distribution by calculating the fraction of total upstream distance XL/LR, where XL is the distance, and LR is the channel length from outlet to channel head.” These typos do not change the results, conclusions, or implications of the paper, and we note them in this erratum for clarity.
