Abstract

A programming error was made in the calculated line positions of Tables 1 and 2. In computing the calculated line positions, the deviations listed in the tables as 0 C were subtracted from the observed line positions. By error the absolute value of the deviation was subtracted rather than the actual number. This means that while the observed line positions and deviations listed in Tables 1 and 2 are correct, all calculated line positions where the deviations are negative are incorrect. The correct calculated line positions can be obtained in this case by subtracting the 0 C values from the observed line positions. Another error was made in the rotational constant H K N 1 H K N r ' for v2 reported in Table 5. It should read -1.6 (18) r instead of + 1.6 (64) x
